Raising an American Pitbull Terrier is an awesome experience. It is also a big responsibility, raising any dog is. One of the keys to having an amazing dog is training and socialization. All of the APBT's here are socialized with children from birth, or in the event they were not born here they are introduced to the whole family as soon as possible. The children spend as much time as they can with them. And they have formed a special bond with each and every one of them.
I also get them out in the public around new people, going on walks at the park, long walks through the neighborhood, rides to the store, dog shows, anything that I can do to have them around different settings.
